About Us

Integral DX Engineering Ltd. (est. 1993) provides engineering services in noise, vibration, and acoustics. We operate a virtual workplace, serving clients in the National Capital Region and across Canada. We have a Certificate of Authorization from the Professional Engineers of Ontario, and we are insured by Victor. Integral DX Engineering is a sustaining subscriber to the Canadian Acoustical Association. We are capable of providing services in both official languages.

Our Team

Gregory E. Clunis, P.Eng.
President

Greg Clunis is a graduate of the Mechanical Engineering program at the University of Ottawa (Class of ’84). He started his career in the defence sector, working with one of the primary design authorities for the new Canadian Patrol Frigates (City Class). Following this and other projects, he moved to Public Works Canada/PWGSC as the Department’s sole authority for noise, vibration and acoustics. Integral DX Engineering began taking on projects in 1994. Early business was primarily noise isolation for new condominium design and construction, but additional services were progressively added, with increasing staff complement.

Shane F.P. Ervin, P.Eng.
Senior Associate

Shane Ervin has been an associate of Integral DX Engineering since prior to incorporation. Shane is an Electrical Engineer, specializing in speech intelligibility, sound reinforcement systems, and performing arts facilities and performances.

Jean L. Denis
Senior Quality Management Engineer

Jean Denis has been an associate of Integral DX Engineering since prior to incorporation. Jean is a Mechanical Engineer, specializing in Quality Management. He is a Six-Sigma Black Belt Trainer.

Pier-Gui Lalonde, P.Eng.
Senior Engineer

Pier-Gui Lalonde began his career in acoustics, noise and vibration as a co-op student at Integral DX Engineering. He has over 10 years of experience in the areas of architectural acoustics, mechanical noise and vibration control, as well as environmental noise assessments.

Patrick Trahan, EIT
Engineer-In-Training

Patrick Trahan provides services in all of our areas of expertise. He is a former Integral DX Engineering co-op student.
